The house is near to the long stretch of sandy beaches and the village of Els Poblets, with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars on the beach, in the village, as well as on the complex. Nearby there are 2 outstanding golf courses to keep all golf fanatics happy. The area is used by the locals for fishing, while the flat land full of orange groves aids to walking and cycling. Many teams training for the tour de france etc, use the twenty-two miles of flat road to its full potential. The village itself houses the ancient church of El Salvador, the Mirarrosa tower that guards access to the village from the river Girona and the Roman villa of Almadrava showing the remains of a Roman Pottery. Els Poblets patron saint fiestas begin on July 28 and reach their climax on August 6, the Day of the Saviour.
