    Dear Debbie,

A very warm June welcome to all. Beaches are getting crowded, parking spaces in short supply and the smell of sun tan lotion is in the air. 34 degrees today, and the holiday season is kicking off!

    Swimming Pools

Time to think about swimming pools and keeping them maintained and safe. Following the recent law in France requiring that pool alarms be fitted, Spain is next in line and there will soon be rules about fencing in of pools or providing pool alarms. For those who may object to fencing around a pool, which may ruin the design and look of a pool area, fitting an alarm that can barely be seen is ideal. Those owners who rent their properties to holiday makers should be particularly careful, as they could end up in court should an accident happen because of their negligence!

    Salt Chlorine Generators

Salt Chlorine Generators remove the need for any regular pool maintenance and sanitize your pool without chemicals. They are fully automatic chlorine free systems - you never have to buy chlorine or suffer any of its unwanted side effects such as green hair, irritated skin or faded swim wear again. With these systems, you just set it and forget it! These systems are maintenance free and produce free chlorine at the correct PH range so no PH controller is required. The Salt chlorine generator self cleaning systems are operated by a digital electronic power supply which indicate on the display panel when salt is needed - how much and when. Generally a monthly check is all that is needed. Apart from this, absolutely no maintenance is needed! We invite anyone visiting the Costa Blanca to visit a pool running this system to see and feel the difference in the water to a normal chlorine based pool.

    Gardens

We notice that many people tend to overlook the garden areas and concentrate on the property and pool areas. However, garden areas are very important and often photos of a beautiful entrance to a property, perhaps with overhanging bougainvillea around the doorway, can swing a booking in your favour. Holidaymakers often prefer to sit in a 'Spanish garden' than on a stark concrete terrace, especially those who do not like constant sun. Dining 'al fresco' is so appealing in a garden with flowers and shady trees. As well as the fact that a house with a well landscaped garden adds more than 20% to the value of the property! New Website
We are still in the process of trying to launch our new website as mentioned in our last newsletter, but unfortunately due to our high workload and increasing involvement on the sales side of the business, we have been unable to get it finished although are hoping to within the next two weeks. This website will incorporate all three websites into one - property sales north Costa Blanca, property sales south Costa Blanca/Costa Calida, and holiday and long term rentals.

Due to our increased advertising and subsequent enquiries, we are still in need of private villas with pools for UK holidaymakers for the high season.

Bye for Now and if you require information on any of our services, please do not hesitate to contact us
