L’Alfas del Pi Committed To Residential Tourism and Health

The City of L’Alfas del Pi has enhanced residential, hotel and health tourism to help increase the arrival of Norwegian tourists to the municipality. This morning, Mayor Vicente Arques is visiting facilities at Alfaz del Sol along with the mayors of Tourism, International Relations and Social Welfare.

It is a residential complex constructed in 2006 with over 150 apartments and houses mainly with clients from Norway. “During the winter, 90 percent are elderly fleeing the snow and freezing temperatures, and in summer come families with children,” said Marit Gjelsten, the Office of Alfaz del Sol. They are very active, love the weather, and seek to relate with likeminded people. “They want to do many activities: hiking, concerts, exhibitions … sport,” he added.

Alfaz del Sol is an apartment complex with apartments for both rent and sale.  Open year round with onsite facilities such as pools, bars, restaurants, hairdresser, clinic, gym and shops, it is the ideal place for a summer or winter break.
