*NEWS* Two new Citrus Iberia
offices have opened so far in 2007 - Mojacar
office situated in the heart of the Pueblo, which will be
covering a wide area of Almeria, including Mojacar Playa,
Vera, San Juan de Terreros, Garrucha and Almanzora - and
South Costa Blanca, located on the main
N332 at Cabo Roig, which will be covering all areas and
developments around the Orihuela
Costa including Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Campoamor,
Villamartin and many more.
Our existing head office will remain in Benissa
where we will continue to providing services to Denia, Javea,
Moraira, Calpe, Altea down to Benidorm.
Original co-director Luis's own misfortunes
lead him to establish an operation in the UK to look after
Spanish Property for those owners who lived abroad. Luis,
a Spanish national, has lived in the UK since 1973, but
still owned a 5-bed villa on the Costa Blanca. However,
he had great difficulty finding someone he could rely on
to look after it. After putting it in the hands of a 'friend',
he later found that it had been rented out in his absence,
and on one occasion, arriving unannounced, found that a
family had been living in there for 6 weeks!
He then decided there was a niche in the market
for absent property owners looking to place their property
in the hands of a trustworthy and reliable agent, and opened
'Home Iberia Limited' in the UK in 1990.
 However,
although the company was well established with 'logistical'
offices on the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol, supervising
agents to carry out the property management services was
difficult. Luis decided that it was in his best interests
to return to Spain after nearly 30 years in the UK to establish
contact with an existing property management company on
the Costa Blanca with which to join forces.
Deborah, a Brit living and working in Spain,
had been running a property management and rentals business.
Although successful, with 18 clients, and properties to
rent, she lacked the Spanish language and therefore had
difficulty breaking into the Spanish market and dealing
with the legal bureaucracy involved in running a business.
She had spent 4 years working in property
rentals and sales, which gave her the experience needed
to operate her own property management, lettings and sale
business.
We therefore combined our experiences
and knowledge to form Citrus Iberia Limited in 2002, with offices
in the UK and Spain. Citrus Iberia has since changed its status and is now run by sole
director Deborah as Luis moved on to pastures new in 2005.
Over the past five years, Citrus
Iberia has gone from strength to strenght and is now an
established Estate Agent with property for sale on the Costa
Blanca, Costa Calida and Almeria as well as two new offices
opening in 2007. A fourth office was opened in February
in Turkey to provide property sales rentals and
management along the Turkish Riviera. Turkey

governing body and are therefore recommended as trustworthy,
